Yesterday Havdis was in Tromsø for Gode hoder sammen for blå bioøkonomi i nord, held at Havneterminalen and hosted by the four Arctic Blue Clusters: Biotech North, Cod Cluster, Norwegian Seaweed Cluster and NCE Aquaculture. Our CEO Andreas Lyhammer presented Fra melke til marked, on how cod is starting to create value in places nobody was looking.

What we took from the day had less to do with any single talk than with the room itself. The real value of an event like this is what happens when the big players in the ocean space end up together in one place. Established industry sat with the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Northern Norway, and everyone was working the same question, which is how much value can actually be created from byproducts and how far the ocean can be taken as a source of innovation.
