This week Benedek Regoczi and Rasmus August Engh Tønnessen were at DNB NXT in Bergen. One session we got a lot out of was on why to choose local VCs and what they are looking for, with Momentum (Arve Janbu Fresvik), Alliance VC (Arne Tonning 🚀), Sarsia (Hilde Holdhus) and Tidligfasekapital Vestland (Espen Hundsnes Grøvlen) on the panel. Meeting other investors in the room was just as valuable, Camilla Olsen of Hadean Ventures among them.
Bergen is one of the world's leading marine research cities. The companies coming out of that ecosystem depend on local capital also taking a position in them. 🌊
