ONS was something new! Last week, I left Bergen for Stavanger to pitch at ONS,
The trip down started with a little more action than I would normally prefer in the morning.
with a flat tire at Leirvik...
But WOW. Once I arrived in Stavanger, a whole new world opened up.
I absolutely loved the vibe at ONS. An international business community built around the energy and petroleum industry.
“This is the big league,” I remember thinking as I walked into the expo. And right there, in the middle of Hall 4, was the stage where, in just 30 minutes, I was about to pitch the mission of Havdis. "to save lives selling fish sperm"
Even though we ended up as runners-up, I went home with 250,000kr in AWS credits!
What an awesome event. The exposure, conversations, connections, and new friends we made were incredible. and will become critical in the period we are entering.
A huge thank you to Innovation Dock and Startup World Cup for putting on such a great show, and for literally bringing an air horn.
We’ll definitely be back in Stavanger soon!
